Congratulations to Our Battle of the Books Team!
We are thrilled to announce that our team – 6D Su Tsz Tung, 5D Chan Tin Nok, 5D Fong Heyman, 5A Chiu Caramel, 4D Suen Kwok Fung and 4D Chu Chi Lok – have won the second prize at the Hong Kong Battle of the Books Competition Primary section CMI division.
Over the span of a year, students read 12 books, many of which were over 300 pages in length. They practised tirelessly every day and even came back to school to practise during the vacation.
The competition was quite challenging during the semi-finals, so students prayed to calm themselves down, focus and self-regulate. In spite of the hurdles that they had to overcome, they were victorious, managed to achieve the highest score in the semi-final round and entered the finals.
The final round was challenging, but they persevered and won the 2nd place prize.
Congratulations to our outstanding team!
