We are thrilled to announce that our team—4C Chan Tin Nok, 4C Chiu Caramel, 6A Leung Cheuk Wing, 6B Pang Tin Yee, 6D Chan Yuet Yin, and 6D Lee Cheuk Hin—has successfully defended our title, and once again won the Hong Kong Battle of the Books 2024-2025 Primary Modified CMI Division.

Over the span of a year, students read 12 books, many of which were over 300 pages in length. They practised tirelessly every day and even came back to school to practise during the vacation.

The competition was quite challenging during the semi-finals, so students prayed to calm themselves down, focus and self-regulate. In spite of the hurdles that they had to overcome, they were victorious, managed to achieve the highest score, and entered the finals.

Our students continued to practise during their recess and lunch break, while their peers played and entertained themselves. Our students’ resilience and hard work paid off as they were named champions and took the first prize in both the semi-final and the final rounds.
